This vehicle is designed to provide a temporary treatment facility at overcrowded A&E Departments throughout the country. The vehicle is simply driven to where required and only needs a 13amp power supply to keep its battery systems fully operational.
The vehicle can be fitted with onboard diagnostic equipment such as an X ray machine, scanner, heart monitor etc and can be linked directly to a hospital surgeon via onboard monitors and voice communication, so simple supervised surgeries can be performed if needed on board.
The central stretcher location makes 360 degree patient access easy. The vehicle also carries all the other equipment you find in a regular ambulance. The final specification can be adapted to suit the specific health service requirements.
The vehicle can be simply sterilized between patient consultations in minutes by the onboard X ray unit which safely tracks up and down the treatment area killing any bacteria / viruses in the process.
The vehicle can treat a large range of physical ailments from cuts, bruises, burns, broken bones, sprains and can diagnose more serious underlying issues with its diagnostic equipment. Anything major found can then be directed to the specific hospital ward.
The vehicles are built to order, they are fully electric and use graphite battery technology. This means much longer life on a full charge than current lithium-ion batteries, rapid charging and no fire risk as graphite batteries are totally inert. They also have a much greater lifespan of up to 50 years.
Patient access is through a side door but if the patient is on a stretcher the rear section opens up and the rear of the vehicle squats down on its air suspension. A small ramp extends from the floor and the stretcher can simply be pushed in. Access either way is simple and easy.
The vehicles can be purchased directly from us or leased through a partner third party leasing company which is already an approved NHS supplier.
